Chris Brooks studied photography between the Midlands and the north of England specialising in the photograph as art. After graduation, he began working in London, and later Europe and New York on both personal and commissioned projects, gaining much technical experience as well as the skill he needed to be able to craft the images he does for his own work, as well as for international magazines and commercial clients. Brooks' personal practice leads his vision, producing his first art book The Brooks Press of Wirskworth which launched at The Photographers Gallery in London and was published by his own imprint 'The Brooks Press - a reimagined art publishing house based on a long lost family business of the same name. Brooks is now based between The U.S. and Europe, shooting for Clients such as Gucci, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Moët and Jimmy Choo as well as working on further book and exhibition projects.
